To see things in terms of the coin is to see the reality of everything there is. As there are two side to a coin, there are two sides to everything we perceive in our lives. What we must understand is that we shouldn't choose one side of the coin because in reality the coin is always flipping; good and bad are in constant flow in our lives. Choosing to indulge in only one side of the coin causes your life to be lopsided. An indulgence in the 'good' side of reality will cause havoc and loss when the inevitable flip of the coin brings you 'bad'. Ideally we must identify ourselves not in the goodness or badness of the coin, but as an observer content to be dazzled by the endless dance of the coin's two faces.
Do you wish to call heads or tails? Or do you wish to not leave your life to chance and instead grow so familiar with the totality of the coin that you inevitably become the one who flips it?
